The UK has arrested Jose Alejandro Zamora Yrala, from AOG Technics Ltd, on charges related to the false documentation allegations that have dominated industry discussions for months.
The arrest appears to have been carried out by the UK’s Serious Fraud Office, who investigated in cooperation with the UK CAA.
The Aviation Suppliers Association has had discussions with aviation authorities around the globe about strategies for detecting false documentation. The Aviation Suppliers Association’s Quality Committee will be discussing the association’s strategies for protecting the industry from false documentation later tomorrow at their semi-annual meeting.
