State Department Sanctions Aircraft Parts Companies

Today, the State Department announced the names of several aircraft parts distributors who have been named as Specially Designated Nationals (SDNs). SDNs are blocked under a U.S. State Department sanctions program. It is typically illegal for U.S. Persons to engage in transactions with SDNs.

These sanctions are in addition to, and against separate targets, from the Commerce Department TDOs and denied addresses that were published earlier today.

The State Department named over a hundred new SDNs today, but five of them appear to be aircraft parts distributors:

The State Department has stated that Airrock Solutions, Aerostage Services, and Max Jet supplied spare aircraft parts to Pobeda Airlines and S7 Engineering in Russia. The targets of the other two were not mentioned in the State Department press release.
