Randy Babbitt Lands at Southwest

Many of you followed the story of FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, who was arrested driving while intoxicated.

Babbitt resigned and this created a vacuum at the top of the FAA.  Michael Huerta has filled-in but has yet to be confirmed.

Ultimately, Babbitt was found not-guilty of the charges, but it was too late to reinstate him as Administrator.

We have just learned that Randy Babbitt has landed at Southwest Airlines, where he will take the position of Senior Vice President of Labor Relations.  Babbitt has a rich background in labor relations, and will likely thrive in this new role.
