ASA Files Comments Seeking Systemic Improvements

The Aviation Suppliers Association (ASA) today filed comments with the Department of Transportation (DOT) that highlight several places where the regulatory system could be improved.

On April 3, the DOT published a Federal Register Notice entitled Ensuring Lawful Regulation; Reducing Regulation and Controlling Regulatory Costs.” 

ASA drafted and filed comments intended to help identify existing regulatory obligations that could be modified to ensure that DOT administrative actions are consistent with the national interest, and that DOT achieves meaningful burden reduction while continuing to meet statutory obligations and ensure the safety of the U.S. transportation system.
